I hadn’t had television in a really long time, because I ended up watching it all the time and not getting any of my work done. Recently, I decided that I thought I had enough self-control to log onto directv.com and get a television package and have it installed. I really didn’t know what I was missing. There were so many new shows that each of my friends always talks about, and I am totally out of the loop. I have just been watching reruns of old shows on Netflix. There is this new show on HBO, that all my friends get together on Sunday and watch, that I started watching. It is called “Boardwalk Empire”. The show is set in New Jersey, specifically, Atlantic City in the 1920s. It is a drama about bootlegging and crooked politics in Atlantic City when it was just getting popular. It is really a great show and I think that it is pretty historically accurate. Now I can at least relate to my friends about this show and join them on Sunday nights!
