Guest post of the week by Brittany Booker
This was going to be the year our small Texas restaurant owners had big plans to expand into another county. Our team was working so hard to make it happen with our budget in mind and our dedication to community first and foremost. We spent many afternoons and weekends searching out an existing restaurant space instead of building from the ground up. While both options had positive points, the idea of building when there are many spaces readily available felt wrong for us. In this economic stand still, it only made sense to make our mark in our new target county by filling up the existing space. During this time, our team worked diligently in making our budget work. We discovered surprising energy rates online at Texas Electricity Providers has the best Rates This created a perfect opportunity for us to cut our expenses and make the growth of our restaurant happen without putting us in the red for the year even before the doors opened. We will be holding our grand opening in the spring. We are all very proud to be a part of such an accomplished small business.
